Rachel Stern was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After high school, she moved to Boston where she attended Boston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication. She then lived in New York City where she worked in marketing and media in video investments.

More recently, Ms. Stern attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. While in school Ms. Stern joined the mock trial team where she won First place in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program Intramural Competition (2022), First place in the JEBS Trial Competition (2023), and Third place in the San Diego Defense Lawyers Competition in San Diego, California (2023). Ms. Stern was awarded the CALI Award for the highest grade in her Legal Writing II class.  Additionally, she served as her Legal Writing Professor’s Teaching Assistant. Ms. Stern was nominated for a position with her law school’s Writing Center, where she helped students edit legal related papers.

When she passed the Texas bar, Ms. Stern then began her practice here at Nava Law Group handling personal injury matters. On her own, Ms. Stern practices family law matters including divorces, child support issues, child custody and adoptions.

When she is not working, you can find Ms. Stern trying new restaurants, reading, traveling, or hanging with her French Bulldogs.
